Where are the new contracts signed in 2020?
Once the decision of the arbitrator was made it fell on the employer to publish the final language, and then have it approved by the national union and then distribute the finalized version in both official languages.
Not surprisingly, the employer chose language that it is vital we dispute. This process often requires an arbitrator to weigh in and is very time consuming. In the meantime, grievances can be filed under the arbitrators decision even without the final wording.
